Zero Egg partners with NYC’s Plantega to offer plant-based breakfast items

Partnerships

  • Zero Egg, an Israeli alternative egg developer, has partnered with NYC’s Plantega to become the latter’s exclusive plant-based egg supplier. Plantega, based on a deli-in-store concept, will feature Zero Egg’s new Egg Patty in its bodega-style breakfast sandwiches.

  • The breakfast sandwich range featuring items like Chopped Cheese, Bacon, Egg, and Cheese sandwiches is available in over 40 Plantega outlets across NYC and through online food delivery platforms such as DoorDash, UberEats, and Grubhub.

  • Zero Egg’s products are made using a proprietary blend of plant proteins and offer a versatile alternative to traditional eggs that can be used in applications ranging from scrambling to baking. They are also claimed to be 100% plant-based, non-GMO, and low in calories and fat while being free from gluten and cholesterol.
