Envisics raises USD 50 million in Series C funding

Funding

  • Envisics, a UK-based startup developing holographic in-car technology, raised USD 50 million in a Series C funding round led by Hyundai Mobis, with participation from InMotion Ventures, the investment arm of Jaguar Land Rover, and Stellantis.

  • The round valued the company at USD 500 million (vs. its USD 250 million valuation in October 2020) and brought its total raised funds to USD 100 million.

  • Envisics intends to utilize the funds for further product development and to fast-track commercialization. The company plans to release its first commercial offering later this year. It will be deployed first, in partnership with General Motors (GM), by debuting the system in GM’s Cadillac LYRIQ model vehicles in 2024.
