Asymmetry Finance raises USD 3 million in seed funding

Funding

  • Asymmetry Finance, a liquid staking protocol, has raised USD 3 million in seed funding led by Ecco Capital, with participation from Republic Capital, Ankr, and GMJP. 

  • The company plans to use the funding to further develop its protocol, increase its employee base, and onboard new clients.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Cryptocurrency staking has seen a growing investor interest in the last few months with a number of startups raising funding. These include Eigen Labs , which raised USD 50 million , Diva , which raised USD 3.5 million , and Kiln , which raised USD 17.6 million . Asymmetry aims to differentiate itself by enabling users to redeploy already staked tokens.
