N26, a Berlin-based neobank serving B2B and B2C segments, has introduced a savings account. The product has been initially launched in Spain, with plans to gradually roll it out across Europe in the future.
The savings account offers a 2.26% yield on savings up to EUR 50,000 (~USD 54,200), with customers being able to access funds at any time. Furthermore, it does not impose minimum deposit requirements, additional fees, or the necessity of direct salary remittance into the account.
The account is completely digital and can be accessed through the spaces tab within the N26 app. It is available to all eligible existing and new N26 customers across all membership tiers that have a Spanish International Bank Account Number (IBAN) and meet local eligibility requirements, including being a resident of Spain with a registered local tax ID number.
