Samsara Eco, an Australian enviro-tech company creating infinite recycling to end plastic pollution, has partnered with Lululemon, a Canadian athletic retailer, to create new recycled nylon and polyester from apparel waste.
This marks Lululemon's first minority investment in a recycling company and serves as Samsara Eco's first collaboration within the apparel industry.
Analyst QuickTake: Samsara Eco has entered this partnership as it prepares for commercialization, building upon its successful AUD 54 million (~USD 34.7 million) Series A funding round from the previous year. This collaboration further aligns with Samsara Eco's roadmap, which sets a target to recycle 1.5 million tons of plastic annually by 2030.
