Escape, a Paris-based API security startup, has raised USD 3.9 million in a seed funding round led by IRIS, with participation from Frst, Y Combinator, Irregular Expressions, Tiny Supercomputers, Kima Ventures, and several angel investors.
The company intends to use the funds to hire sales specialists and engineers, aiming to increase adoption and develop new features.
Escape, part of Y Combinator’s class of 2023, offers an API security platform providing observability of an organization’s cloud applications, helping security teams keep up with rapid iteration by developers, and allowing detection and remediation of breaches at any point in the development lifecycle.
