Know Labs launches non-invasive glucose monitor prototype

Product updates

  • Passive remote monitoring company Know Labs has showcased the Generation 1 (Gen 1) Device, the next stage of its Bio-RFID technology development. The Gen 1 Device incorporates Know Labs' Bio-RFID sensor and aims to deliver the world's first FDA-cleared non-invasive blood glucose monitor for people with diabetes and pre-diabetes.

  • The Gen 1 Device is a portable research lab that collects blood glucose data for algorithm development and refinement. It features a Bio-RFID sensor and is designed to be scalable, allowing testing across diverse populations and scenarios. The device is built with advanced engineering and has onboard computing power, machine-learning capabilities, and long battery life.

  • The device allows high-quality data collection, iterative research, and the generation of large and novel datasets for algorithm optimization. The company plans to continue refining the device while working toward FDA clearance and external validation of its technology.
