Shift5 raises USD 33 million in additional Series B funding

Funding

  • Shift5, an operational technology security startup, has raised USD 33 million in an extension to its Series B funding round led by Moore Strategic Ventures, with participation from Booz Allen Ventures, Teamworthy Ventures, and JetBlue's venture capital division. The overall Series B round closed with a total of USD 83 million raised, bringing the firm's total funding since launch to USD 108 million.

  • Shift5 plans to use the funds to make additional hires, grow its federal business, invest in engineering strategy, and expand into new markets.

  • The funding news follows the announcement of a partnership with JetBlue to implement data observability and security solutions for aircraft avionics systems.
