Snyk to acquire application visibility firm Enso for undisclosed sum

M&A

  • Snyk, a startup that builds solutions allowing developers to secure cloud applications, announced a deal to acquire application security posture management (ASPM) firm Enso Security for an undisclosed sum. The deal is expected to close in Q2 2023.

  • Tel Aviv-based Enso develops solutions that grant organizations observability of their cloud applications; contextualizing application posture to allow both developers and security teams to identify vulnerabilities and security coverage gaps.

  • Snyk will integrate Enso’s solution into its developer security platform, providing developers a complete view of their application security posture across the software development lifecycle.

  • The firm also announced a range of new features, including “Insights,” an issue-prioritization tool that complements Enso’s ASPM capabilities, and DeepCode AI, an AI-based solution that generates validated code fixes within development environments.
