AR fashion company ZERO10 is set to launch its first prototype AR Store. The AR Store, which builds on the company's AR mirror technology, aims to provide an immersive retail experience while addressing common issues associated with traditional brick-and-mortar stores.
The AR Store offers an AR shopping experience with a simple setup that includes the AR Mirror, an iPad stand, a statistics screen, and storage space. The AR Mirror is capable of running complex computer vision models and rendering clothing in 4K resolution in real-time. It uses a supercomputer for 3D body tracking and multi-class segmentation. The AR Store requires minimal space and construction, delivering the functions of a traditional store in just two square meters. The prototype AR Store will be showcased at Viva Technology, Europe's biggest startup and tech event, from June 14–17 in Paris, France.
Analyst QuickTake: The product launch follows collaborations with brands such as Tommy Hilfiger and Coach. Specifically, Zero10 installed three AR mirrors in Tommy Hilfiger stores for customers to try on outfits from the Tommy Hilfiger x Shawn Mendes Classics Reborn collection. Additionally, Zero10 installed two AR mirrors at a Coach flagship store in New York, featuring a collection of digital handbags with AR enhancements to complement its Tabby campaign.
