Darktrace, a cloud security startup, has announced new risk and compliance models for its DETECT and RESPOND solutions to address data leakage and intellectual property concerns of generative AI tools in the workplace.
The company claims its updated models will allow businesses to balance the risks of 1) leveraging generative AI to boost productivity and innovation, 2) facilitating the implementation of security measures to monitor the activity of generative AI tools and LLMs, and 3) responding to possible leakage events.
Analyst QuickTake: Cybersecurity firms have been quick to adopt generative AI to augment threat detection and response and reduce the burden on security teams, with Google Cloud , ZeroFox , SentinelOne , Crowdstrike , and several others recently launching new products and features.
