Filigran raises EUR 5 million in seed funding

Funding

  • Filigran, a Paris-based cybersecurity startup specializing in threat intelligence, has raised EUR 5 million (~USD 5.4 million) in a seed funding round led by Moonfire, with participation from Motier Ventures, Kima Ventures, Raise Sherpas, Zebox Ventures, and others.

  • The investment will be used to fund an 18-month business acceleration plan focusing on engineering, driving growth in Europe and North America, and developing the firm’s product offering.

  • Founded in October 2022, Filigran develops open-source cyber threat intelligence and crisis management solutions, with a focus on facilitating the implementation of strategic threat management alongside managing technical threat data. The firm’s solutions are reportedly employed by over 3,200 organizations globally, including Airbus, Marriott, Thales, Hermès, and government agencies such as the European Commission, the FBI, and the New York City Cyber Command.
