N-Drip, an Israel-based company developing smart irrigation systems, has raised USD 44 million in a Series C funding round, led by the Liechtenstein Group, with participation from Hamilton Lane, Natural Ventures, and existing investors including Granot Group, Bridges Israel Impact Fund, and Kibbutz Ein Harod Ihud. A group of US-based investors also joined the round.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its operations and global footprint.
Founded in 2015, N-Drip provides a gravity-powered micro-irrigation system that enables farmers to monitor their fields and receive real-time recommendations for irrigation and fertilizer usage, leading to improved water and nutrient management. The agritech firm claims that the system can accurately predict harvest sizes up to six weeks in advance of the scheduled harvest. N-Drip operates in 17 countries and has three main business hubs in Australia, India, and the southwestern US. Furthermore, N-Drip has partnered with RiceTec for marketing its systems in rice fields across the US, India, and other countries.
