Steadily, a digital rental property insurer serving landlords, raised USD 28.5 million in a Series B funding round led by Zigg Capital, with participation from Matrix Partners, Koch Ventures, Clocktower Technology Ventures, and Nine Four Ventures. The total funds raised by the company now stand at USD 59.5 million.

The company plans to use the fresh funds toward scaling its operations and expand its mobile-first experience with new tech, such as embedded IoT devices, to proactively prevent property damage.

Steadily operates in all 50 states and currently serves over 18 million individual rental property owners. 

Founded in 2020, Steadily offers property insurance to single-family and small multi-family renters landlords through a mobile app and online platform. The app pre-fills data points such as property size and year of construction, saving time and hassle, as opposed to filling out lengthy manual forms. It enables users to receive quotes in minutes or speak to a team of specialized insurance agents that can address specific coverage questions via phone, email, or SMS.
