Hospitality technology platform HyperGuest has raised USD 23 million in a Series A funding round led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, with participation from Viola Ventures and new investor Thayer Ventures.
The funds will be used to accelerate growth, enhance offerings for hoteliers and travel providers, expand its global footprint, invest in product development, enhance its technology infrastructure, scale its sales and marketing efforts, drive customer acquisition, and increase market penetration.
HyperGuest provides a platform that facilitates direct connections between hotels, suppliers, and various travel distributors, such as online travel agencies, agent groups, tour operators, and more. This connectivity aids hotel operators in enhancing inventory distribution, improving operations, and bolstering revenue. The company noted that it had 25,000 active hotels and partnerships with 380+ demand customers and 150+ global technology integrations.
Analyst QuickTake: HyperGuest claims that users will enjoy higher margins and data transparency in comparison to OTAs backed by its “Distribution 2.0” AI-driven optimization process. Additionally, HyperGuest allows hoteliers to configure how their rates get distributed, unlike traditional bed banks and wholesalers.
