FourPlus, a UK-based immersive tech company, raised GBP 1 million (~USD 1.3 million) in funding from Innovate UK, the UK's national innovation agency.
The funding will be used to create a mixed reality training platform with multiplayer capabilities for the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. The platform, aimed at training individuals in manufacturing roles within cell and gene therapy and in biopharmaceutical and broader life sciences sectors, is expected to be available for demonstration by the end of 2023.
FourPlus provides immersive technology, including VR experiences for workforce management, 3D asset visualization for marketing and training purposes, facility visualization, laboratory training for bioscience students, and data visualization within the life sciences sector.
