Ethereum blockchain game Pikamoon raised USD 3.6 million in its ongoing Initial Coin Offering (ICO). The game is designed to bring more value to the Ethereum ecosystem and aims to offer a unique blend of NFTs, video gaming, and metaverse entertainment.
The funds raised from the ICO will be used to launch the company’s metaverse game with an earning model that allows players to withdraw their in-game rewards directly to their wallet or bank account without needing a third party.
Pikamoon, an exploration and strategy-based role-playing game, operates on two blockchains: Ethereum and MultiversX. The game offers two main modes: An offline campaign and an online multiplayer mode. Gameplay is split into exploration, which happens in real-time across the game's world, Dreva, and turn-based battles between players' Pikamoons. The initial coin offering (ICO) for the game has seen the first two phases sell out, with the third phase currently in progress.
