EHang raises USD 23 million in private placement

Funding

  • EHang, a leading autonomous aerial vehicle technology company, has entered share subscription agreements totaling USD 23 million in private placement, led by South Korean investor Lee soo-man.

  • The company will be receiving a deposit of 80% of the aggregate purchase price from the investors for the proposed placement within three business days. The transaction is set to close in Q3 2023 and is subject to regulatory review and customary closing conditions.

  • Additionally, EHang and Mr. Lee soo-man will also be collaborating on steering the development of Urban Air Mobility (UAM) business in Asia-Pacific regions by leveraging their strengths.

  • EHang intends to use the proceeds for working capital and general corporate purposes and to support technology advancement, business development, and post-certification commercial operations of the company.
