Akur8, a developer of technologies to automate the insurance pricing process, has secured USD 27.3 million in venture funds earlier this month. The round was led by Guidewire, with participation from BlackFin Capital Partners and FinTLV Ventures. The total funds raised by the company now stand at USD 68.7 million.
Analyst QuickTake : Akur8’s previous funding round was in June 2021, when it raised USD 30 million in a Series B. It had earmarked these funds for developing new products and features, as well as for corporate expansion into the US and Asia-Pacific region.
