Silent Protocol, a blockchain-based privacy infrastructure provider, raised USD 5 million in new funding led by Sora Ventures.
The company plans to use the funding to expand its network and cater to traditional enterprises by constructing a security layer for decentralized applications (dApps) that is compliant with MiCA (Markets in Crypto-Assets) regulations in the EU.
Additionally, the company also announced its plans to launch a framework named “EZEE” (Economical Zero-Knowledge Execution Environment) in early Q4 2023. EZEE will act as a sandbox environment for enterprises to test privacy-compliant solutions on top of their existing dApps.
Silent Protocol is a Turkish startup that develops a scalable privacy layer for decentralized applications. The solution removes the requirement to swap liquidity from existing pools and enables enterprises to scale their dApps using zero-knowledge solutions to ensure data privacy.
