Aurora Innovation (Aurora), an autonomous vehicle technology startup, announced plans to raise USD 600 million by selling class A common stock in a private placement, which led to a more than 10% drop in shares during after-market trading.
Additionally, the company is commencing an underwritten public offering of up to USD 200 million of its Class A common stock.
As of end-June 2023, Aurora reported having USD 785 million in cash, cash equivalents, and short-term investments, excluding restricted cash, compared to USD 1.2 billion in November.
