Tractable AI raises USD 65 million in Series E

Funding

  • Tractable AI, a UK-based provider of AI-based solutions that use visual analysis to assess vehicle damage claims, has raised USD 65 million in a Series E funding round led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2, with participation from Insight Partners and Georgian. Total funds raised by the company now stand at USD 184.9 million.

  • The company plans to utilize the funds to expand its existing business, incorporate advanced AI solutions across its processes, and invest further in Japan, one of its biggest markets.

  • The company reported that since its previous funding round (Series D) in July 2021, it has expanded its product portfolio, acquired leading customers, and established partnerships with P&C insurers, including American Family Insurance and Aviva, and automotive companies. The company claims to process over USD 7 billion in annualized auto and home repairs and acquisitions, more than doubling its claim processing volume from a year ago.
