Tractable AI, a UK-based provider of AI-based solutions that use visual analysis to assess vehicle damage claims, has raised USD 65 million in a Series E funding round led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2, with participation from Insight Partners and Georgian. Total funds raised by the company now stand at USD 184.9 million.
The company plans to utilize the funds to expand its existing business, incorporate advanced AI solutions across its processes, and invest further in Japan, one of its biggest markets.
The company reported that since its previous funding round (Series D) in July 2021, it has expanded its product portfolio, acquired leading customers, and established partnerships with P&C insurers, including American Family Insurance and Aviva, and automotive companies. The company claims to process over USD 7 billion in annualized auto and home repairs and acquisitions, more than doubling its claim processing volume from a year ago.
