PingSafe, a cloud application security startup with a focus on attacker intelligence, has raised USD 3.3 million in a seed funding round led by Peak XV Partners, Taglin Ventures, and several angel investors. This also marks the company's emergence from stealth mode.
PingSafe plans to use the funds to develop its cloud native application protection platform (CNAPP).
Founded in 2022 by career hackers, PingSafe provides a comprehensive cloud security solution and notably integrates an offensive security engine that mimics attackers to help expose critical vulnerabilities with proof of exploitability, reudcing the need for manual verification. PingSafe has reported a revenue growth of 10x over the past year. The firm operates out of both San Francisco, CA and Bangalore, India.
