Coro, a cloud security company catering to small and medium enterprises, has announced the acquisition of Israeli network solutions provider Privatise for an undisclosed sum.
Privatise, founded in 2020, provides secure access service edge (SASE) and other networking solutions for both on-premise and remote work scenarios, protecting any endpoint device from network attacks.
The company plans to integrate Privatise’s SASE capabilities into its all-in-one platform, allowing Coro to provide mid-market businesses with a comprehensive, fully integrated, single-vendor cloud security offering incorporating SASE, military-grade VPN, zero-trust network access (ZTNA), remote desktop protocol (RDP), and more.
The move demonstrates Coro’s growth momentum, with the acquisition following an April 2023 fundraise led by Energy Impact Partners, where the firm raised USD 75 million in a Series C , bringing total funding in the last 12 months to USD 155 million. Coro also projects a growth of 300% in 2023, continuing an annual growth trend of 300% for the last five years in a row.
