Cloud security specialist Crowdstrike is reportedly in talks to acquire Bionic.AI, a cloud security posture management platform, for USD 200 million-300 million. No further details have been provided.
According to reports, the acquisition will allow Crowdstrike to incorporate additional visibility of cloud-native applications into its platform.
Bionic.AI operates out of several locations in Tel Aviv, Israel, and Palo Alto, California, and has previously raised USD 83 million from investors such as Insight Partners, Cyberstarts, and Battery Ventures. The company aims to provide a comprehensive cloud security solution, offering an inventory of architecture and dataflows, monitoring changes throughout development, and enabling developers to set guardrails.
