Zipline, a drone-based delivery services provider, has partnered with home healthcare services company OhioHealth, to offer drone-based delivery of medication, lab work, and supplies for the latter's customers in Columbus, Ohio.
The partnership looks to form an initial network capable of reaching approximately two million people in the area by 2025.
OhioHealth will utilize Zipline’s latest drone delivery system, “P2,” for the purpose.
Analyst QuickTake: Today, OhioHealth joins the growing list of Zipline’s partners to have joined forces to use its P2 drone-based delivery system. The list includes GNC, Pagliacci, Associated Couriers, Sweetgreen, Michigan Medicine, MultiCare Health Systems, Intermountain Health, and the government of Rwanda.
