Stamus Networks, a US- and France-based cybersecurity firm, has raised USD 6 million in a Series A funding round led by First Analysis, with participation from SmoothBrain and existing investors Elevate Ventures and VisionTech Partners. Post-round, Stamus' total funding raised stands at USD 7.5 million.
The company expects to use the funds to drive marketing initiatives and further develop its product offering.
Stamus specializes in network security solutions based on the open-source Suricata threat detection framework, introducing machine learning (ML) into network security monitoring (NSM), intrusion detection (IDS), and network detection and response (NDR) systems.
