Greenlight, a neobank serving the kids segment, has launched a credit card called Greenlight Family Cash Mastercard, which allows teenagers to build their credit score before turning 18, as well as learn about credit management.
Parents can add their child as an authorized user of the credit card and can set spending limits and receive real-time alerts of purchases, while children can track their spending within the app. In addition, children can access Greenlight’s in-app financial literacy game Level Up, to learn on credit.
The credit card also includes cash back rewards, offering 3% cash back when users spend over USD 4,000 in a billing cycle, 2% when spending at least USD 1,000, and 1% when spending less than USD 1,000.
Currently, the company serves over six million customers.
