Swedish plant-based dairy producer Oatly has expanded its partnership with Deutsche Bahn, a major European railway company, to introduce Oatly's plant-based Vanilla Soft Serve in self-service stations across 16 DB lounges in Germany.
Building on their previous collaboration, which introduced Oatly Barista Edition as the first plant-based milk alternative on Deutsche Bahn trains, the expanded partnership aligns with Oatly's commitment to driving more sustainable food options.
Analyst QuickTake: Oatly Soft Serve provides a vegan, soy, and dairy-free alternative made using oats. The product first launched in the US in 2021 and is available in vanilla, chocolate, and chocolate-vanilla swirl varieties at foodservice outlets. Recently, the company collaborated with The Breakfast Club, Jenki, and Lewis Hamilton-backed Neat Burger to debut the vegan soft serve in the UK .
