Nubank, a Brazil-based neobank, has introduced a new home insurance offering termed Nubank Lar Seguro, in partnership with Chubb for eligible customers in Brazil over the next few months.

The coverage can be tailored to customers’ needs and has partial or full reimbursement options for damages, fire, loss of rent, theft, electrical damage, and personal liability. Furthermore, customers can also obtain 24-hour professional services to help with property maintenance. 

Analyst QuickTake: This is the second partnership over the past couple of months between Nubank and Chubb. In June 2023 , Nubank introduced Nu Vidas Juntas, a digital life offering. It allows a customer to purchase their own policy, as well as gift another Nu customer with a second policy. The primary policyholder receives death and funeral coverage and daily accident cover, whereas the secondary policyholder only receives the former.
