Microsoft announced the extension of advanced multi-cloud posture management features of its Defender for Cloud platform to Google Cloud.
The expanded feature set will allow users to identify security risks and attack paths and locate sensitive information in their Google Cloud environments. Defender now offers cloud workload protection across infrastructure, applications, and data across all three major public cloud providers—with posture management features already available to AWS and Azure cloud users—which the company claims is an industry first.
