Singapore-based Atome, a flexible embedded payment solution provider, has raised USD 100 million as a debt facility with HSBC Singapore. Atome's total funding now stands at USD 745 million.
The company plans to use the funds to expand into the Philippines and offer new financing products focused on consumers.
Currently, the platform has disbursed over USD 4 billion in total loans.
Atome also announced an expansion of its partnership with HSBC Singapore to act as the structuring and lender bank and facility agent in providing flexible and regional financing solutions to support its geographic expansion plans.
Analyst QuickTake: Atome also partnered with OPN to offer flexible payment solutions and support merchant sales volume growth in Singapore and Malaysia last month.
