ClearMotion, a developer of proactive suspension and road-sensing software, has begun construction of its first production facility in Changshu, China, with plans to start delivering its ClearMotion1 (CM1) active suspension system globally in 2024.
The facility will be operational by Q1 2024 and will be capable of producing over 1.5 million components annually, with a focus on China's electric vehicle (EV) market.
Analyst QuickTake : Today’s news builds on ClearMotion's strong momentum — as it received a significant production order from an EV maker in May 2023, solidifying its position in the industry. In September 2022, the company secured USD 39 million in funding, followed by an additional USD 32 million in venture capital in May 2023 to launch the product in 2024, with plans to expand globally.
