Google-backed AI drug discovery company XtalPi announced a collaboration with a Switzerland-based next-generation product design and risk assessment company Edelweiss Connect (EwC), to develop skincare product safety assessment solutions.
The partnership will leverage XtalPi's AI-powered high-content cellular imaging platform, X-Map, and EwC’s expertise in safety assessment to create more accurate and reliable in silico and in-vitro assessment methods for skin care products, replacing traditional animal testing and establishing new industry standards for the adoption of such tools while reducing costs and time associated with such testing.
