Partnerships

  • Meta is reportedly collaborating with LG to launch a successor to its Quest Pro headset by 2025. This high-end headset is speculated to be priced at ~USD 2,000, utilizing LG displays and components from LG subsidiaries. Additionally, Meta is anticipated to introduce a more affordable Quest headset in 2024, potentially priced below USD 200.

  • The new high-end headset, rumored to be named "Meta Quest 4 Pro," is positioned to compete with Apple's premium-priced Vision Pro headset. Historically, Meta has engaged in joint ventures for VR products, such as the Oculus Rift S with Lenovo and the Oculus Go with Xiaomi.

  • The upcoming affordable headset aligns with previous reports of a cost-effective product, codenamed “Ventura,” set for a 2024 release.
