Harvest London partners with AgriData Innovations to develop London-based farm

Partnerships

  • Harvest London, a UK-based controlled environment agriculture (CEA) company, has partnered with AgriData Innovations, a Netherlands-based developer of greenhouse monitoring systems, to install camera systems at Harvest's 140,000 sq ft (13,000 sq m) unit in Beddington, London, which will be converted into a vertical farm growing a range of salads and herbs.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Harvest London has been working toward constructing and opening its vertical farming facility in South London, for which the company secured an undisclosed amount of funding from Foresight Group in March 2023. The company currently operates two proof-of-concept farms in Walthamstow and Leyton. Previously, the company partnered with Pizza Pilgrims in December 2020 to supply locally sourced basil.
