Canadian provider of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), OTTO Motors has introduced OTTO 1200, an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) designed for heavy-duty material handling in confined spaces, with a high payload capacity of 1,200 kg (2,640 lb) while prioritizing safety.
The company claims the OTTO 1200 features patented adaptive fieldset technology, ensuring efficient maneuverability even in tight environments and maintaining high-speed performance without compromising safety. It is also designed for quick and easy maintenance, reducing downtime.
This AMR, with an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, can be used in various applications, including inbound material handling, finished goods transport, and lineside delivery. It collaborates with other OTTO AMRs, contributing to facility-scale automation in manufacturing.
