Adobe launches commercial version of Firefly GenAI models

Product updates

  • Adobe has announced the general availability of its Firefly GenAI models in its Creative Cloud, Adobe Express, and Adobe Experience Cloud suite. The company is also launching Firefly as a standalone web app. Pricing for Firefly will be based on generative credits, which measure user interactions with the models.

  • Firefly features include Generative Fill and Generative Expand in Photoshop. The standalone web app allows users to generate images and make adjustments without installing the beta version.

  • Analyst QuickTake: The availability of Firefly outside beta testing expands AI-powered creative capabilities within Adobe's suite. Users can create content using Firefly without extensive AI knowledge, potentially streamlining design processes and offering new creative possibilities.
