Payhawk, a business expense card and payout management platform, has launched Payhawk Green to help companies make sustainable spending decisions. This allows customers to automatically quantify the CO2 associated with purchases made on Payhawk cards, and can also collect and manage ESG data for suppliers to improve supply chain transparency.
The solution is offered through an integration with Lune, which quantifies the spend-related carbon emissions, leveraging “thousands” of factors (with global coverage and country-specific data), such as product category and value, flights and other logistics, and GHG protocol estimations, among others.
Payhawk Green aims to help businesses comply with regulations like the UK's Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting and the EU's Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive. Payhawk also plans to develop more features in the future to further support customers' ESG initiatives.
