Partnerships

  • Mobileye, an Intel subsidiary developing technology for self-driving vehicles, has entered a strategic partnership with FAW Group, a Chinese state-owned automobile manufacturer, to integrate Mobileye's advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving technology into FAW Group vehicles.

  • The companies plan to introduce the Mobileye ADAS platform “SuperVision” to FAW Hongqi brand vehicles and then intgrate Mobileye’s eyes-off and hands-off driving technology Chauffeur system into the E701 vehicle. The projects are expected to be deployed by 2024 and 2025, respectively.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Today’s partnership adds FAW Group to the growing list of automotive brands, including Ford, Geely, Zeekr, Tesla, BMW, Nissan, Dart, and Porsche, which have incorporated Mobileye’s technology into their vehicles.
