Firefly Aerospace has successfully launched a small satellite for the US Space Force on the Victus Nox mission. The mission demonstrated the capability to launch in a much shorter timeline than usual for national security missions.
The satellite was launched on a Firefly Alpha rocket and aimed to showcase Tactically Responsive Space capabilities. It involved the rapid integration of a space vehicle by Millennium Space Systems, fueling operations, and mating with the Alpha rocket's payload adapter in under 58 hours.
