Tipalti expands offering in Europe; secures EMI license

Geographic expansion

  • Tipalti, a cloud-based business payout management platform, has launched a localized solution for the European market, along with obtaining an Electronic Money Institution (EMI) license from De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB).

  • Tipalti aims to expand its presence in Europe, including Germany and the Nordics, and expects the continent to account for around 20% of its new business by end 2024.

  • Analyst Quickake: The company was initially present in Europe through its UK headquarters (launched in October 2022); last year, it launched a Benelux office in Amsterdam , Netherlands, after the UK customer base crossed the 100 mark. This localized offering and license should help the company further expand in the region by offering a full spectrum of payment solutions.
