Mooala, a plant-based milk producer, has launched the Mooala Simple Line, a range of three-ingredient, organic, shelf-stable plant-based milk products.
The Simple Line products contain filtered water, organic oats or almonds, and sea salt only and claim to be free of GMOs, gums, oils, and other additives.
Priced at USD 36.99 for a six-pack of 32oz cartons (~USD 6.2 per carton), it is 627% more expensive than a gallon of whole milk sold at Walmart and 137% more expensive than a gallon of Oatly’s oat milk.
Mooala, founded in 2013, develops organic and dairy-free beverages. The company is known for its range of banana milk products and is available at Whole Foods, Kroger, Costco, Publix, Walmart, HEB, and Aldi stores.
