Nomad, a provider of US bank accounts to non-residents, raised USD 61 million in a Series B extension round led by Tiger Global Management, with participation from Stripes, Monashees, Spark Capital, and Propel among others. The company's total funding now stands at USD 117.5 million.
The company aims to use the fresh funds to develop the company's investing platform as well as launch new products, including credit cards.
Founded in 2019, Nomad offers US bank accounts to Brazilians, inclusive of a debit card. It also provides currency exchange and an investing platform that provides access to US stocks, ETFs, and REITs.
