Puro.earth, a Finnish startup offering a B2B carbon trading marketplace and registry for carbon removal credits, has provided pre-certification for CO2 Removal Certificates (CORCs) generated by the commercial facility of American BioCarbon, a sustainable product manufacturer utilizing sugarcane bagasse.
The certification confirms that American BioCarbon's bagasse biochar is carbon-net-negative and compliant with industry standards. American BioCarbon aims to expand its commercial facility to generate 175,000 high-integrity CORCs annually by 2024.
