Lumu, a cybersecurity threat detection and response company, has raised USD 30 million in a Series B funding round led by Forgepoint Capital, with participation from existing investors BIP Ventures, Exceptional Capital, and SIMMA Capital. The total funding raised by Lumu is now USD 38 million.
The company plans to use the fresh funds to expand its global sales and go-to-market strategy, as well as to increase research and development efforts.
Formed in 2019, Lumu offers a Continuous Compromise Assessment cybersecurity model that helps organizations detect and respond to threats more effectively. Its solution provides unified visibility across all assets and takes a network-centric approach to threat detection and response.
