CropX and Indian AgriTech company Zuari FarmHub have partnered to introduce sensor-based agronomic farm management systems in India. CropX will provide its crop management platform, which offers predictions on soil and weather, to help farmers optimize their crop yield. Zuari FarmHub has started pilot trials of the CropX system in the Solapur region, as well as selected farmer fields in Karnataka and Maharashtra. Initially, 30 CropX sensor systems will be deployed in these areas, with plans to expand to other regions in the future. Zuari FarmHub is also working on a service model to make the platform more affordable for farmers.

 <p>Matr Foods, a mycelium meat production company, has received a debt funding of EUR 20 million from the European Investment Bank, with the support of the InvestEU scheme.</p>
 <p>This funding will enable Matr Foods to build their first factory at a commercial scale, with plans to open in 2026. The annual production is projected to increase to over 3,000 tonnes of clean-label meat analogs from the current 30-40 tonnes produced at the pilot plant. Matr Foods is also set to invest more in R&amp;D.</p>
 <p>The company employs a unique solid-state fermentation process, using upcycled ingredients like beetroots, potatoes, lupins, peas, and oats. They claim their products have a significantly lower climate footprint (1.6 kg CO2e/kg) which is 94% less than beef, in line with the EU's Green Deal target of achieving net zero emissions by 2050.</p>

 <p>IoT-based fleet management solutions provider, Platform Science, has unveiled its plans to acquire Trimble's global transportation telematics business units for an undisclosed sum. Trimble is a technology firm that provides positioning, modeling, and data analytics solutions. The acquisition is part of Platform Science's strategy to strengthen its fleet management platform, known as "Virtual Vehicle."</p>
 <p>Post-acquisition, the firm plans to give its customers access to Trimble's range of transportation solutions via this same platform. Moreover, it also intends to offer Trimble's global transportation telematics customers access to the Virtual Vehicle platform.</p>
 <p>Once the transaction concludes, Trimble will obtain a 32.5% stake in Platform Science and get one seat on the latter's board.</p>

 <p>Digital Adoption Solutions provider, Whatfix, originating from India, achieved a funding input of USD 100 million in a Series E (primary + secondary) investment round. The investment was headed by Sweet Nectar Investments, a Warburg Pincus entity, and SoftBank, leading to a company worth ranging from USD 820 million to USD 830 million.</p>
 <p>The firm intends to use the capital raised primarily for business enlargement and development. It has been three years since the company’s last capital raise.</p>
 <p>In the deal, there were 13,201 Series E compulsory convertible preference shares issued. As a consequence of the allocation, SoftBank’s stake in the company grew to 15.51%, while Warburg Pincus' Sweet Nectar Investments ended up with an 8.94% interest.</p>
