Australia-based digital twin provider Neara has raised an additional USD 10 million in a capital raise extension, bringing its total Series B funding to USD 24 million. The funding round was led by Prosus Ventures with participation from existing investors Skip Capital and Square Peg Capital. This brings the total funds raised by the company to USD 29.8 million.
The new funds will be used to accelerate its global expansion, with a focus on the US and Europe, and further develop its System of Enablement functionality, which aims to remove constraints that prevent renewable energy integration into the grid. Neara's AI platform currently supports utility operators covering over 1 million square miles and managing more than 8 million assets in operations.
