Recycap secures EUR 155,000 to commercialize technology

Funding

  • Recycap Technologies, a Spanish company recycling coffee capsules, has raised EUR 155,000 (~USD 163,600) in a seed funding round led by Veos Ventures and ENISA, a national innovation company in Spain. The funding intends to accelerate the commercial production of the company's first two REACT coffee capsule devices (REACT-H and REACT-S).

  • Recycap Technologies aims to manufacture commercialized recycling devices and create industry partnerships with coffee retailers and brands to set up coffee capsule recycling programs.

  • Founded in 2022, Spain-based Recycap Technologies delivers an automated coffee capsule recycling system called “REACT” (Recycap Automated Coffee Technology). Its technology removes coffee grounds from capsules to ready-for-recycling.
