Zesty.ai, a provider of AI-based property risk analytics solutions, has integrated the Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety's (IBHS) FORTIFIED construction standard into its Z-PROPERTY predictive property and climate risk platform.

This allows Zesty.ai’s customers to gain information on the designation levels of FORTIFIED Roof, FORTIFIED Home-Silver, and FORTIFIED Home-Gold to improve their ratings and for underwriting weather risks.

In addition, underwriters and insurers can assess mandatory discounts required for mitigation measures required by some states in the FORTIFIED Home program. ZestyAI will also utilize FORTIFIED data to improve underwriting Severe Convective Storm risk in Z-HAIL and Z-WIND predictive models.

Previously, Zesty.ai had collaborated with IBHS to provide “Wildfire Fuel Management and Risk Mitigation” and the “Small Hail, Big Problems, New Approach” FORTIFIED program data for IBHS Member companies using the Z-PROPERTY platform.
